Comp Lite Collection
Comp Lite: Less Short, More Surf
The lightest boardshorts we build. Comp Lite strips a surf trunk back to what actually matters in the water: minimal weight, welded seams instead of bulky stitching, and 4-way stretch that disappears the moment you start paddling.
Built for surfers who notice the difference. If you want pockets and a night out, the standard boardshorts are the better call.
How to Choose a Comp Short
Comp shorts are a specific tool. They are cut closer, sit higher on the leg, and use welded or laser cut seams so there is nothing to chafe on a long session. That also means fewer pockets and less fabric, which is a feature in the water and a compromise on land. Take your normal size and expect a snugger fit than a regular fixed waist short. If you are between sizes here, size up.
What Is in the Range
Shorter outseams in featherweight 4-way stretch fabric, welded seam construction, a low profile fly and a drawcord that holds under real duress. Solid colours and restrained prints, because a comp short is equipment rather than a statement.
Why Vissla
The Comp Lite programme came from team feedback, not a trend deck. Surfers who compete or surf every day asked for less weight and fewer seams, and the eco fabric brief did not get relaxed to deliver it: recycled and coconut based fibres throughout, same as the rest of the eco range.
Fewer grams, same surf. That is the trade.
