Eco-lastic Boardshorts
Eco-Lastics: Boardshorts for the Unbothered
Vissla's laid-back take on boardshorts, built for comfort over competition. An easy elastic waistband and a sustainable blend of upcycled coconuts and recycled plastic water bottles make these eco-friendly swim shorts ideal for pool hangs, beach days, mellow surf sessions, and anywhere else the day drifts. Not intended for high-performance surfing. Intended for everything around it: soft stretch, relaxed mobility, and effortless style from sand to street.

How to Choose Eco-Lastic Boardshorts
The elastic waist is the whole argument. A traditional fixed waist boardshort locks in with a drawcord and does not move, which is what you want in heavy surf. An Eco-Lastic gives you a stretch waistband instead, which is what you want for everything else: paddling out on a mellow morning, a day that turns into lunch, a flight to somewhere warm. Take your normal size. The stretch handles the rest.
What Is in the Range
16.5 and 17.5 inch outseams in 4-way stretch fabric built from recycled polyester and coconut fibre, with on-seam pockets that drain, a scalloped hem, and a back pocket with a key loop. Solid colours and prints, all of it quick drying enough to wear home without thinking about it.
Why Vissla
Coconut husk and recycled bottles are not a marketing angle here, they are the fabric. The eco range exists because petroleum-based poly is the default in this category and we would rather not be the default. It also happens to make a softer short.
Comfortable enough that you forget you are wearing boardshorts. That is the target.
