Pipeline, CA | Surfer Magazine

At the end of summer, when the California coast was battered by back-to-back swells, many surfers headed to the tried and true south-swell magnets. But those willing to explore the more obscure nooks and crannies were duly rewarded. "This was about a week after Hurricane Marie, but we were still getting a lot of super-fun surf up and down the coast," says Cam Richards. "On this day, Ryan Craig and I got up at the crack of dawn and found this amazing left ramp in Orange County. It's actually a pretty scary spot because you have to squeeze around this cliff to get to it and there are exposed rocks all over the lineup. But when the sets came, there were some awesome waves to be had." - Surfer Mag
