Portugal Field Trip

Early in 23, in between heats of the 3^rd stop of the WSL Championship Tour event, a few of the Vissla Europe team packed their bags and met the South African CT surfer Matthew McGillivray to try to find some gems in the chilly waters of Portugal and shoot the Fall 23 apparel collection.

As far as surf trips go, at first sight, the forecast didn't look too promising. When the wind was right, the swell direction wasn’t and vice versa.  

However, after many surf checks, hours spent on the road and lots of Pasteis de Nata, some ok nuggets were found among the crowds and wind-filled conditions.
